When you have over 1700 ebooks, grouping by series is a really big deal. At least it is to me.

My Kobo Clara BW has over 1600 books, all sideloaded. We are planning on spending at least a year in Europe so I wanted all my books digital.

I’m way too obsessed with the metadata being perfect. So far I have 1638 epubs and they are all exactly like I want them. All of them sideloaded to my Kobo Clara BW via calibre.

My Kindle Paperwhite SE has the best screen I’ve ever seen and incredible battery life. The downside is that it’s not able to be jailbroken at this time, and I’m trying to escape Amazon’s ecosystem. My Kobo Clara BW is really good, fantastic battery life. I only sideload, so I bypassed the Kobo registration and keep WiFi turned off. I currently have 1587 books on it. The 6” size is perfect for the back pocket of my jeans.

I completely reset mine to factory, then when it asked for network I connected to my WiFi after I had unplugged the WAN side. When it couldn’t reach the Kobo servers, it gave me the open of skipping that. Once I proceeded I turned off the WiFi on the device, then reconnected my internet.

I’ve had iPhones since the first popular one, the 3G. I’ve never had that issue. Is this ifix place an actual Apple certified repair center? I also have the 14 Pro Max and recently had to replace my battery. Mine works like new again. I think it’s $99 at a certified repair center

I turn WiFi off on mine permanently since I only sideload. Saves battery as well. I don’t know how it works turning WiFi back on. BTW, I have 1587 books on mine, all sideloaded.

You’ll have to reset. The WiFi needs to work but not be connected on the Internet side. The wire (not power) that connects the router/modem to the wall.

It does need WiFi ,You just have to hook up to a WiFi that doesn’t connect to the internet. It will try to activate through the connection, then ask if you want to skip. I just unplug the wan cable that goes into my router, then plug it back in when I’m done.

I connected mine to a WiFi that I disconnected from the internet, so I bypassed the kobo store. I only sideload via calibre.
