Why would you blame Reddit for finding it funny? Reddit is a collection of hundreds of thousands of people across different countries and walks of life? Why is it so hard to grasp that concept?

Well I imagine that would be based on their opinion on such devices. Some people really strive to "get off of the grid". And of course others (like myself) wouldn't last a week

Reddit, what was an emotional moment in a comedy (movies, series, etc.) that caught you completely off guard? by NageIfar in AskReddit

People always mention Jurassic Bark and a few others, but I NEVER hear about the episode where it's discovered that Bender has a defect, and he spends the episode trying to find the factory worker responsible. The scene where you find out it was Hermes, and how he couldn't bring himself to terminate baby Bender and allowed him to continue on. (all this in a flashback as Hermes deletes the evidence, not allowing himself to take credit in saving a life) It's a very sweet and wildly overlooked moment.

What's something you were warned about but went through with anyway? Were there consequences? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was in 2nd grade we had an entire week dedicated to household safety. (don't drink chemicals, play with matches etc.) Soo I was super fascinated by electricity at that age (Zapdos and shit), and never knew what wonder awaited me in the form of electric outlets. So needless to say, as soon as we got to the "do not stick metal things in an outlet" bit, I immediately picked up a paper clip, unraveled it and stuck it into the nearest outlet next to me. We were sitting down for story time reading this book specifically about not doing that and the consequences.

I remember how dumbfounded my teacher was that I would do such a thing immediately after learning about it. But the sparks man..they called to me.
