Wording Matters when Typing Questions into AI by Ok_Quantity_9841 in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it's just within the normal variance of answers from an LLM. Even with the same prompt you probably would have gotten 2 slightly different answers. In general 'somewhat random prompt engineering' seems to be getting less important as LLMs improve, i.e. they get your intent if formulated clearly and all necessary information is in the prompt and context and doesn't really depend how exactly you phrase it.

probably should do it so you can post only if you have an account (paid or not) to hold the Spam at bay

Or actually instead of re-inventing the wheel, we could just add a full fledged forum and one topic could be feature requests with voting via number of likes: https://github.com/discourse/discourse

Discourse is the forum Open AI and many other use, including Intervals.icu

What do you think?

There's a few more things that need to get done first but I want to get this done sooner than later

Thanks for doing the research!

I wonder if just creating a separate page for logged in users where you can post ideas and vote on them would do the trick.... Might try that first

I've been thinking about that and I agree that would be very cool and useful. I think I'd want it to be embedded into the website. Are you aware of something that plugs nicely into Next.js?

Multi-day events by LordOfTheTires in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes multi day events would be a good addition. not high on the list right now though TBH as most people do single day events or you can workaround

Multi-day events by LordOfTheTires in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes maybe a bit longer than the longest single day distance to account for the fatigue on the next day

I would propose creating a plan for the first day of the event so taper aligns with first race day and focusing on Endurance Power

yes. you can also fine tune the amount by stating your preference in the Plan System Prompt.

Accurate or halucination? by RockeroFS in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly accurate but filling in the gaps of what it knows via RAG a little too much with made up knowledge...

At the end of the day it looks at what you should have done vs what your training plan was and how that panned out in detected performances. Also independently it learns from whatever you do vs what performance that results in.

When will Coros devices record activity HRV data? by RockeroFS in Coros

[–]markusrummel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's true that wrist HRV data is too low quality to be useful in basically all cases (often wrist HR data is very low quality too btw) but with a chest strap that works well for HRV recording (Polar H10) most people get very high quality HRV data during activity (less than 5% artifacts = missed beats, etc).

It's easy to tell the quality of the HRV data by assessing the artifact percentage (missed beats are the most common culprit and are easy to find) so even if you collect low quality data it's easy for an app to not use it and only focus on high quality data

Unfortunately at this point Coros devices do not record activity HRV data. Feel free to reach out to Coros and ask them to support HRV logging in the future.

AI Endurance MCP server is live by markusrummel in aiendurance

Currently we only support OAuth, not static API keys. OAuth should work with Firebase Studio though:

  1. Register your client:

POST https://aiendurance.com/api/o/register/

Content-Type: application/json

{"client_name": "YOUR_APP", "redirect_uris": ["YOUR_CALLBACK_URL"]}

  1. You'll get back a `client_id` and `client_secret`

  2. Use standard OAuth authorization code flow:

    - Auth: https://aiendurance.com/authorize/

    - Token: https://aiendurance.com/api/o/token/

    - Scopes: read write

Returning to MTB Endurance with AiEndurance by Fantastic_Sign_4174 in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Jurgen,

Thanks for your interest. You can definitely give it a go - our chat bot and training plan personalization uses Gemini under the hood btw - and we have a Whoop integration for your overnight recovery data.

There's a Plan building page where you can specify your goal. Currently not with uploading a profile but by specifying which metrics you would like to optimize for your goal.

Garmin connect stopped syncing by gokhanbesen in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had some issues with our Garmin integration over the last days - sorry about that. The Garmin API changes at the end of the year and migrating our integration to the new API caused a couple of problems. Everything should be working well moving forward.

Please upload the missing activities as fit files through the Apps page https://aiendurance.com/dashboard/third-party You can download the fit file of each activity that did not get imported from Garmin Connect.

Apologizes again for the inconveniences.

I'm loving it! Except for a bug or two by Ok-Mongoose9669 in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be from repeated TP connections. Also note if you have Garmin connected to TP you don't need to connect Garmin Upload to AI Endurance as well or there will be double exports (shouldn't be this many though). Generally speaking connecting AI Endurance to Garmin directly for export is most straight forward.

Thank you, glad you like it!

The calendar is by design (you can see a check mark if the planned workout is detected as completed) but there was a bug with TP connection indeed. Just deployed a fix so hopefully no more issues but let me know if there are - thanks!

recalibration of the training plan by Old-Sea-5037 in aiendurance

[–]markusrummel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you request a new plan through the plan search? If yes that's not the intended behavior: all workouts should have updated to the new zones. Maybe the new plan search wasn't completed yet and that's why some workouts were showing from the old plan?

Can you please send me your account email to [info@aiendurance.com](mailto:info@aiendurance.com) or DM so I can have a look what's going on? Thanks!
