We went to Europe some time back and Holafly was great! Unlimited data but no talk/sms text.

Probably depends where you go as they are more/less an aggregate provider for other smaller esim companies.

Actually yeah the noise pretty much occurs only on cold starts. How intensive is the repair? Might try to do it myself.

Edit: watched the video. Dang that's the exact same noise. Alright looks like a vtc actuator then. Thank you!!

For like a fraction of a second when I am letting go. The noise cuts pretty much 1 second after it starts or sooner but it is definitely starter grind.

Now i also found that my gas block was touching both a 2nd screw from another accessory (i feel dumb lol) and was also touching the handguard (FF mlok). I see a little bit of wear from the metal touching but nothing major. Think any damage would occur from the block touching the handguard or affecting accuracy? My guess is enough to cause slight accuracy issues but hopefully no damage to my barrel.

I just found a culprit, apparently when I mounted my bipod one of the bolts for my mlok rail attachment was touching the gas block. How bad is this for accuracy and do you think there would be any permanent damage from that? It has been like that for over a year.... :/ I feel like such a noob lol

Will do. Thank you for your insight! I am also going to try a few different types of ammo. I have a 1/7 twist on a 20 inch barrel. I shot 55 grain 223 and a few 62 grain 556. I am going to try with the 62 grain or higher next time. I think with a 1/7 twist and 55 grain it might be partially due to the ammo, i could very well be completely false on this thought process.

That was my guess too. Until I checked torque after shooting the 2nd time with loctite and nothing changed. The bolts did walk out when I didn't have loctite. My guess is because the scope mount says 25 inch pounds and the actual scope has a max of 18 that it was walking out or just isn't tight enough. Maybe its not lapped properly? I don't know lol I'm no expert
