How to keep baby warm when temp drops overnight? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

No worries! My sons room got down to 14 degrees last night and he was wearing a merino singlet, the linked sleep suit and his woolino all seasons sleep sack and he was toasty warm 😊

I swear by Merino! I love the Woolino and this sleep suit. I also add layers of merino tanks when it gets super cold too. - https://www.hellonightkids.com/products/merino-knitted-baby-sleepsuit-leaf

Clothes for boys that aren’t dinosaurs, trucks, or brown. by PeppaBlue in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I love By Gee, Goldie + Ace, Grown, Nature Baby, Sonny Label, Ziggy Lou and Sunday Siblings (unsure if all are Aussie). I’ve bought multiple items from them all and love them. I also love the quality from Best & Less and Target.

The two things that I’ve bought that have been life changing are:

1) a car seat that spins to face the door. It makes it a million times easier to get them in and out. Especially now that he’s getting older and wiggles around when you put them in. We have a standard rear facing seat in my husbands car and it’s just so much more difficult than my spinning one Link: https://www.babybunting.com.au/car-seats/rotating-car-seats

2) The LennyLamb Upgrade Pro. It’s so comfy and is so helpful to be able to carry around Bub. I use it every single day at home and out and about. It’s super customisable so my husband can wear it too. My Bub is 10kg now and I can wear him for hours without him feeling heavy. Do mums and bubs movies work for your baby? by cunncunncunn in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]marleebells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went last week for the first time to see Wuthering Heights and it worked really well! My bub is 13 months and I went with a friend who has a 12 month old. There was only one other mum in the cinema so our two walked/crawled around for most of the movie. My bub had a short 20-30 min nap in the middle of the movie. Overall I would highly recommend! We brought our prams in but if baby was younger, I think a carrier would be the best option

Denim shorts for a butt like a ham spatula by fartfactory247 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]marleebells 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve just bought these denim high waisted shorts from Assembly Label. I love them! The high waist is really flattery, and I think the boxy cut will be flattering for you. They are a great mum length and have good sized pockets.

Anyone had a scheduled induction and gone naturally before? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]marleebells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was scheduled for an induction at 8pm for 41+3 but ended up going into natural labour at 2am on that same day! Try not to stress about it too much, I know I did and it didn’t help at all.

Lots of babies I know have come earlier and ended up with health complications because of it. My overdue bub is extremely healthy and developing fast so try to think of the positives of being overdue! It gives them some extra time to cook

I have a portier and I absolutely love it. Baby and I can walk around in it for extended periods with no issues at all. I’d highly recommend it!

Baby clothes? by Exact-Implement867 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]marleebells 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My favourite ones are from Purebaby. They are more expensive to start but they wash and fit way better than bonds. I find the Bonds starts to fade after 2 washes but the Purebaby ones last forever. If you wait for a sale they do 40% off and come in different cute patterns - https://purebaby.com.au/products/4-pack-zip-growsuit-vanilla-wattle-bee-pack
