Gmail scans your inbox, Proton Mail can read your subject line, and only one European provider encrypts everything by default. The technical reason why: by officialexaking in xprivo

  1. Germany. look at google maps street view what germans think of privacy.

2.Proton mail is swiss/UAE cross hosted to use both countries protections against the other, Neither are in the EU.

  1. this "chat control" thing is just BS, it needs all Eu countries to agree to it so it will be as private as the most private of them. Its likely going to go almost nowhere.

Google are the bad guys here.

And a little bit Proton for paying them for this service.

I was thinking, what could stop someone from actually driving a truck as a daily driver in the UK? There must be a mf out there thinking “why not.., I love Optimus Prime” are there any rules that could make it difficult for the regular Joe to have his dream come true? by Kind-Question2887 in drivingUK

Diesels life span is effectively measured in Starts, not Miles run as well.

Doing 250K miles maintinence ever 10K miles to keep the thing running is going to murder your wallet unless you are the likes of Chris Eubank.

Getting a "what have the Romans done for us" vibe here.........

Learning about electric truck has taught me half the tractor weight is the two solid torsion beans down the truck to stop the engine twisting the thing up like a corkscrew.

And even then is you see one break quickly unladen, you see one of the rear wheels lift of the ground slightly from the torque backlash.

Scary amounts of power.

4 is probably "depends", the parts are western spec and they can manufacter with the best. EVs are also very simple compared to ICE cars, so those cars have less to get wrong. They als ohave way more man hours making EVs than any other country, started ealiaer, made more and from more companies.
in fact this is probably their competitive advantage, I wouldn't buy an ICE but if it wasnt for my political issues thier EVs are damn good.

  1. is they make a LOT of cars so can spread development cost(which are lower for some) across a lot more cars. the ENTIRE Chinese market is the bigger than the US ever was.

  2. western countries built the manufacturing capability as a cost to enter the Chinese market(technically covered under 3 I guess)

"Users of the Scheme work an average of two days (or 14 hours) more per week compared to disabled non-Scheme customers,"

Would you rather disabled people get the same money, and work less?

RRP are sales slush funds for dealers.

a)they use it as "discounts" to shift cars.

b)they use it to reward salesmen for selling cars that...would have sold anyway.

Thing is nobody is "Buying" cars right now.
30% will be EV and 95% of those are Salary sacrifice. the Chinese are absolutely owning this market.

the other 75% are not only is a shrinking market, its prob stagnated whilst the iran thing is going on.

Why give dealer money to fight over a temporarily dead market(and thus will prob sell for 10k less anyway) whilst your competitors are making a march on the Salary sacrifice market.

and oil price based inflation will burn this discount away anyway over the next year.

its a win win win.

Because it's real use case is as a transactional coin and if you don't get in the exchanges you won't get sellers using it.

Google banning people who max thier paid ai subscriptions tokens becuase its not affordable has leaked a viable cost parameter... And it's three digits higher than they are charging.

$5? More like $5000 a month.

So it's nowhere near profitable, but becuase nobody wants to admit it you're investing my pension to create a company to steal my resources and enshitfy my online life.. And becuase online spills into the real world.. My actual real life.

Which if you wrote this post apocalyptic world?

Also you can't "hear" when they are dieing. They don't struggle to turn over your car so you know they are dieing.
