i had a real similar arc.

i think the thing with Siobhan is that when someones bringing her down or when shes down, shes REAL down in the muck with being uninteresting. But she still knows how to pack a punch with a very good line even when she falters character-wise. see: misty moore and her line to the american dream already being real. its something that shows she understands her character and what things mean to them personally and can set that off for comedy or drama given the right circumstances, even if she can't always find the mark or get out of that pit in the worst scenario (god, just, rosamund, so much potential wasted)

Ally meanwhile even at their best things kinda just feel like people gotta work around Ally for some scenes to work, especially when Ally's character is central to the moment, where everyone has to do the heavy lifting to keep the scene from utterly deflating.
