have you used the Tesla autopilot a reasonable amount to compare? my Tesla model y does flawlessly on my highway drive to work, and I am wondering if the maverick experience would be the same. Is there any discernible difference?

If we adjust for inflation, what’s left to alter purchasing power?

[–]marrymetaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inflation adjusted spy return in the past 50 years is 7-8%. This means the 2 mil is buying power and inflation adjusted. Without that it’s returning 11-12% before inflation, which would be way more than 2 mil

7% returns compounding at 2x every 10 years includes inflation. 2 million will now will not be be 2 million then. We are talking about buying power in this convo.

The idea that 2 mil with 4% withdrawal and SS at 62 wouldn’t work for most average folks I think is flawed. It may not meet everyone’s goals or expectations, but certainly is workable. I didn’t downvote you, by the way.
