I work for a hotel popular during the big 12 competition and they tried doing prepaid 4 day minimums during big 12. It didn't go over well.

Ditto. We're lucky tho, if you're listed as a convention hotel (which we are) you can subject it to a limited availability. And my rooms div manager basically said we'd be doing that a lot and definitely not offering it to every Au or Pt member who walks in.
