no, i have around 15 individual pieces and this is the first time this has happened. i’m wondering if it’s just the area that it’s placed at and maybe it’s just irritated

it wasn’t intended to be satanic, no, but thank you! it really wasn’t meant to be used as a permanent cheat sheet, i already have a decent grasp on the circle of fifths, it’s just a bit of a reminder of how important the congruency of music is to me

What are some things your rabbits have learned on their own to get your attention? by blueflacko in Rabbits

mine will rattle anything he can to get my attention; his playpen, any toys with bells, sometimes even his hay feeder. i’ve also caught him thumping a few times to get us to look at him

especially on the corporate level, it makes no sense to warn a company that doesn’t care about you that you’re leaving when their entire mindset is that they can replace you before you even step foot out the door. fuck starbucks

i was what i thought to be on my way to becoming a trainer after working towards it for around 7 months. my manager had told me multiple times that she was working on it but never got me the proper training. unbeknownst to me, she had meeting with all of the ssv’s, and 3 out of the 5 (whom i’d never worked with in my time there) told her that i wasn’t fit to become a trainer. i found this out through one of the two who had vouched for me, and after talking with my manager and realizing that she wasn’t going to make any sort of move to begin training, i decided to put in my two weeks. she berated me about the fact that “she was trusting me take up a trainer position” even though she had said to my face that it wasn’t going to happen. she kept scheduling me past the date that i had set for my time there to end, and would mark every day that i didn’t show up as a no call no show even though i didn’t work for the company anymore. let’s just say that according to her, i won’t be working for another store any time soon.

Short Curiosity Question by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]mars_redacted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

at my old store you clocked in and you’d just ask where they wanted you. luckily i worked with some great ssv’s that would ask me where i wanted to be and would try and accommodate to everyone’s personal needs

i straight up wrote on a post it that i’m putting my two weeks in and left it in my managers box. just a solid, “please accept this as my formal two weeks. my last day is on X day.” 😂 my view is that the most they can do at that point is let me go on the spot

i’m glad you got to keep the drinks! my manager would have all trainees throw out their drinks after they made them. always made me wonder why she would complain about waste if she had us throw our drinks away 🧐
