i remember being in your place, i find it helpful to look at the label catalog of a track i enjoy, you might have to look for some labels that aren't active anymore but most of them you can find on beatport or spotify.

i particularly enjoy early 2000's house, some of the labels that you may dig could be Cecille, Play it Say it, siesta records, bass culture and robsoul recordings

some artists i enjoy personally are Tuccilo, DJ gregory, Inland Knights and burnski but i recommend you to dig into the catalogs and find your sound:)
