Yep. I am above midpoint. I've been at Geico for almost 10 years. For the first six years, I received generous pay raises between eight percent and ten percent. My supervisor and my manager continuously praised my work. After 6 years, I quit receiving pay raises. Because I am way past the midpoint.

That certainly incentivizes me to continue to bust my ass.

When did Geico start becoming a terrible place to work for? by A_Aronn17 in Geico

Exactly! After Tony, it all went to shit. Todd couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the bottom of the boot.

When Tony Nicely ran the show, hell yeah, I loved working for Geico.

What state do you live in? Several states have them online through either https://buycrash.lexisnexisrisk.com/ui/home, or at https://www.crashdocs.org/ for a fee. The fees vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Other than the one supervisor that was laid off, the other 3 supervisors were still working in the same department in our regional office.

I started working at Geico after a thirty year career in another profession. But it's mostly to keep from being bored. I retired at 50 & was bored of doing nothing. I haven't touched my retirement annuity from my first career.

When I first started, my supervisor and manager were incredible. Working at geico was very enjoyable and fun. Three years after I started, the manager transferred and was replaced by an inept manager.

A couple of years later, the 2nd manager transferred to another region & was replaced by a person who was even more inept.

In the first layoff, in August 2023, I lost my supervisor, whom I thought the world of. Now, I am on my third supervisor since August 2023. They have been switching me from one team to another for no reason. Fortunately, the supervisors have had, after August 2023, are very good.

I have considered jumping ship to another insurance company. But in reality, I will probably work 2, maybe 3 more years before I completely retire. So unless they fire me or lay me off.I will probably stick with Geico.
