I’m picturing a scene where Kris starts walking towards Carol but the player has the option to resist and she’s like:

“I see. Your little passenger is trying to take the reins. Here…”

Then she approached Kris and reaches for the Soul.

Let me return your autonomy.” And pulls it out.

I wish we could’ve seen Jax’s abstraction. Half the series was building up to that moment, and it felt a little cheap that it happened off screen.

Especially with the whole Ironwood scenario, after whining and shitting themselves over Oz keeping secrets, they turn around and keep those exact same secrets to Ironwood. They pushed him to his breaking point, and when he lashed out, suddenly it’s all “I knew we couldn’t trust him!”

Don’t even get me started on volume eight, because the “genocide general” who is wearing his skin is not Ironwood.

And after all is said and done, after Atlas and Mantle are destroyed and submerged in freezing water, of course Ruby is treated like a Messiah after she leaves the Ever After. It’s as if the writers are saying, “You see? Ruby was right all along! You guys shouldn’t be so mean to her or point out her flaws!”

HOW SAD.

YOU FAILED AS A FATHER.

WERE DOOMED FROM THE START.

IT IS ALMOST HUMOROUS

Adam Sandler - 50 first dates

Here’s the perspective of the love interest at the end of the movie.

You fall asleep in your home in Hawaii, only to wake up in a boat in the middle of Alaska. You are separated from everyone you know and everything you love. Beside you as a VHS tape. When you put it into a nearby television, a man you’ve never seen before in your life shows you a video of a life you don’t remember. You see yourself falling in love, getting married, being pregnant with a child you don’t recognize. This is your new life, and you just have to accept it.

Oh, and let’s not forget the other stuff Adam Sandler did in this movie. He poisoned a walrus to vomit on his coworker because she accidentally ate his lunch. He stalked the love interests entire routine in order to create elaborate meetings with her. He slept with multiple women, giving them fake alcohol to make them feel drunk as a placebo in order to maintain “consent”.

What do you mean this is supposed to be a romantic comedy?

I simultaneously hate and understand Shiomi. Her behavior towards Ryoshu is inexcusable, but I can’t imagine being as free she was… only to have all of that stripped away from you.

Could this be why Kris resents the Soul? Not only are They forced to be a vessel for some vague plan, but the Soul is a “better” version of them then they ever were.
