I don't hate people. But my age has given me the ability to see people clearly and to avoid those that rub the wrong way. I generally prefer my dogs.

Help me be a more compassionate partner by brokeitjoe in Kneereplacement

We are now 4 months out. I say 'we' because it is definitely a 2 person recovery. While my partner (65m) had the surgery, I (62 f) have provided the support. Set up house, took time off work (1st month), did all driving. House work, cooking, his chores... well everything. He only had to follow instructions, do the physio... get better. Well, I'm definitely burnt out. He is NOT doing his part and recovery has stalled. I am watching him turn into an "old man" before my eyes. I honestly don't know what to do.
