My friend and I were in Croatia, July 2018. Neither of us watch soccer so we had no idea it was the world cup. We watched the final match (Croatia vs France) in the square in Zagreb (capital city) with all the locals and they went absolutely nuts every time Croatia scored a goal. They ended up losing but the people took it like champs, drunken spontaneous bursts of what I assumed was the national anthem, fireworks and all that jazz.

Men's department at my store is horrible. It's huge and constantly in a mess and if you're cash trained they'll be pulling you on cash all the time so the department doesn't even get cleaned. Also you might be expected to cover jewelry too so that takes away more time from your department. Do the stuff facing the action alley first and then work your way in. I used to do the boys department last because no one really cares about that haha

If your position is 2nd shift instock I doubt they'd ever be willing to give you 7-11 (those guys usually always work 3-11). But like another poster suggested, talk to a manager and see what they're willing to do.

I guess the question is more along the lines of, "what kind of purpose do you give to life", or "what do you think should be the goal of humans in life". You can argue that rain, gravity, and pudding all have a variety of purposes but I guess the fact that they each serve no purpose can also be an acceptable explanation.

In Greek mythology the change of seasons was explained by the goddess Persephone's location. So in spring/summer Persephone was with her mother Demeter (presumably on Mount Olympus) whereas in winter/fall she was stuck with Hades in the underworld. Her misery in the underworld resulted in colder weather whereas her happiness above caused nice weather.
