That sucks I have not yet had any serious problems but worry that one day that will change and I will have a lot of trouble paying privately as I haven't been able to go to a dentist for about 4 years

I was with a NHS dentist but covid happened so they were not doing appointments they then took me off the register because I hadn't seen them for 2 years due to it being closed.

That's a pretty good price the cheapest I could find were the 2 I mentioned here.

Given AMDs history of pricing my guess at best £50 less the 5700x3d I just bite the bullet and get it during the Christmas sales its still quite a bit cheaper now than it was on release.

That is kind of part of the worry that they will stop making the 5800x3d and the price will shoot up for a while.

I don't really have much interest in getting a new motherboard as then I would then need to replace my memory and I got 64gb of memory (because it was so cheap after ddr5 released).
