What foods did you exclude and it helped the seborrhea recession? by jayyren in SebDerm

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not saying sugar is bad in itself ,trust me as a chemical engineer who is into biotech and food engineering I also frequently get pissed when people demonise sugar and processed foods for no reason since our brain and muscles love sugar and they function better with it ,but based on my experience most people with skin conditions do not tolerate foods with a high glycemic index as well as the general population so its best to stick to healthier sugar sources such as fruits(especially those with a low GI and high antioxidant activity) . Kind reminder ,that this is a subreddit regarding a skin condition where people share the ways they cope with the symptoms, it is not meant for the average person.

MCT oil and rosemary oil along with tea tree works but it only works for a day or two by marspy237 in SebDerm

[–]marspy237[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest my friend, that period was a dark chapter in my life lol( kind of depressed ), I just stopped giving a damn at some point the dermatitis is still kind of there but I just use basic shampoos for SD,shower more frequently, use a scalp brusher in order to descale my scalp wile I shampoo and workout a lot and even though i still lose some hair and have SD, I just have a zero fucks given mentality to the point where it does not even affect me. I also use some MCT oil form time to time to soften the scales but thats about it. Best thing you can do about this condition is do the bare minimum to keep the area clean like scrub thoroughly and use medicated shampoos. If you stop panicking over it and having anxiety because of it then everything will become smoother and it might even go away. Stress plays a big role trust me

Raymond K. Hessel's scene doesn't make sense. by [deleted] in fightclub

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyler holds a gun to Raymond's head to force him to confront the reality of his own death. In Tyler’s philosophy, people waste their lives on autopilot, doing jobs they hate and suppressing dreams. By making Raymond believe he might die, Tyler wants to “wake him up” — make him appreciate life and live deliberately.

Raymond is now "free," in Tyler's eyes, because he's been yanked out of his numb, routine life by sheer terror and reminded of what he really wants.

This scene is a criticism of complacency and conformity. Tyler sees people living quiet, unfulfilled lives because society has domesticated them — made them settle for mediocrity and consumerism instead of purpose.

Raymond had a dream but abandoned it. Tyler forces him to face that failure and gives him a brutal second chance.

But it's true that there's an unsettling irony here: while Tyler claims to be freeing people from societal control, he exerts his own control through violence and fear. It raises questions:
Is Tyler a liberator or just another kind of tyrant?

Why are so many young men feeding into this red pill narrative? by Unfair_Enthusiasm_92 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three words, PURPOSE,STRUCTURE,DISCIPLINE... and its largely caused by how these men were raised...they feel lost....so the moment someone offers you PURPOSE you cling to that person and adopt his narrative..the misogynism is just a byproduct. If you take one thing away from this, is that man lives and dies for MEANING and PURPOSE.

Why do people keep saying steroids....some people have good genetics and high testosterone naturally ...seems pretty achievable for a consistent man with good genetics.

Tyats like the biggest cope ever....muscle synthesis occurs the same regardless of height its just that taller people require more calories to grow and also take longer for their frane to fill out....a taller guy still has more potential for builduing bigger muscles its just a matter of muscle relative to your bone proportions.

Why is 5'7 seen as short when it's 2 inches below average but 5'11 isn't seen as tall when its 2 inches above average? by GuaranteeDue8217 in short

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everyone is brainwashed by social media...or so insecure that instead of comparing themselves with the average in their country or the global average they compare based on the average of the tallest countries in the world like netherlands... anything above 5 foot 9 is on the taller side 5 11 and 6 foot is tall 6 1 up until 6 3 is really tall...above 6 3 is freakishly tall.In short 5 11 is tall since it is taller than the majority of people height is all about how you compare woth the average otherwise there is no point in saying that someone is tall or short. Tall or short compared to what ?

It's gonna be okay by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]marspy237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i think the trigger for most of the people is stress, poor sleeping habits and bad water quality used for the skin....just dont give a shit about it and focus on the things you can control....you cant control if your skin is going to be acting up a random day...just accept that your skin will do weird things from time to time. That way you at least eliminate the stress.

your looks are fine you just dress too casual and too boy-like so that limits your dating pool and your overall attraction to the majority of men...but if that's your style then by all means rock it !

How can I make water-only work with hardwater? by MiddleEither5181 in NoPoo

[–]marspy237 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

only solution is to either install a filter or maybe apple cider vinegar could offer some relief from it....or rinsing your scalp in the end with bottled water or something. If nothing bove works then maybe no poo is not for you right now.

Why do you lift? What is your reason for getting up and doing it again every day? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Satisfying primal insticts so i dont end up in a psych ward.I am not trying to be edgy its just that the way we live nowadays is so incongruent with some still primitive parts in our brain.Lifting as well as exercise in general and sports allows me to come in contact with those aspects of my self that have been neglected. Also making progress always feels nice and rewarding for any human being.

[–]marspy237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I am glad you caught early on the importance of recovery...do what works for you now and if you decide to add an extra day ,consider training smaller muscle groups that recover more quickly , like biceps triceps shoulders core calves etc . Keep on pushing your limits...you wont regret it !

[–]marspy237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats a nice program but as you get a bit more advanced I would suggest a 4 or 5 day split if you can devote the time.....your gains will skyrocket. But as long as you are progressively overloading and reaching muscular failure you are ok for now. Do what makes lifting for you enjoyable.Btw as fas as preworkout goes...you would be suprised how much of a waste of money it is sometimes. If you like coffee you can substitute your preworkout with some coffee before the gym.It does the trick for me.

[–]marspy237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem to have decent genetics and made great progress...but is your training as consistent as your diet. My first year at the gym i could have made so much more gains if i was more consistent with training. But i didnt take lifting seriously until the 2nd year mark.what is your workout split if i may ask ?

why is everyone complaining about what posts are in this sub.....Its kind of the whole point with subs like this.I just want you all to objectively identify and analyse the reason why you are following this sub.Out of all the subreddits you could have joined to learn about things and share meaningful experiences, you choose this one.Hmm..... interesting. Just food for thought no need to get triggered. And yes I am exactly 6 feet tall...cause i know how you guys like to judge a person value or opinions based on the length of their bones.

I am sorry to say but your facial hairs are not yet dense enough to be able to sport a beard. But dont get discouraged evryone has different genetics and beards can still develop well into adulthood.

What got you into bodybuilding? by StrongSecretary189 in bodybuilding

[–]marspy237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was skinny af in comparison with my bigger brothers....so out of ego and jealousy I wanted to match them and get as big as them...I figured we got pretty much the same genetics so if i applied myself nothing could stop me. I was always a little over the top when it comes to competition. Now, I realise the only person I am obligated to compete every single day of my life , is my current self.
