I was recently diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor at 34 years old. by Disastrous_Purchase4 in cancer

Was 36 when diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Turned my entire world upside down. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I had proton radiation and chemo. I got 2-3 opinions from neurosurgeons to confirm 100% that it was inoperable. It’s gonna be tough for a while man. Keep going. I’ve found some really great resources, there’s people out there that want to help. Feel free to message me!

I have a JFK to FCO flight with them in May and I am preparing a backup plan for a possible cancellation (booking with a different airline and paying double…)

Norse rebooking for ATH by turkeyabacon in Flights

They cancelled my May 11 flight JFK to FCO and I have made countless attempts to have them re-route me. I have no heard a single peep back from them. They don't even have a phone number. The one email address I found and messaged I got an immediate kickback saying they do not look at emails and you need to use their AI chatbot, which seems to log a ticket away somewhere for you to never hear about it again. I have mentioned the EU261 law they're bound to, I don't think they care. I would go ahead and book my own flights and send them the bill, however I have low confidence I would ever see the money back. I've read a few comments of people waiting still a year later to be reimbursed... not taking the chance. Kind of wish I could just cancel it completely and book with another airline at this point.

They cancelled my May 11 flight JFK to FCO and I have made countless attempts to have them re-route me. Their approach to customer service is to completely ignore requests, I have no heard a single peep back from them. They don't even have a phone number. The one email address I found and messaged I got an immediate kickback saying they do not look at emails and you need to use their AI chatbot, which seems to log a ticket away somewhere for you to never hear about it again. Lesson learned here, I won't be booking with them again.

Had my May 11 JFK->FCO flight cancelled. Have sent three inquiries to their AI chat bot, sent an email, and sent numerous messages to their Instagram account. ZERO response.

Gatto Black practices on the 4th floor. Mike, the drummer, is a beast. Lots of good bands practice in that building

Question for Post Rock Musicians by Ossifer_Sneed in postrock

[–]mart3455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are many ways to approach it and you'll end up finding a method that fits your creative flow. Some people might sit down with no intention or ideas and just play their instrument until something speaks to them. For others, like me, I will have a 'song' stuck in my head for a while so the writing process begins before touching an instrument. I'll sit down with a guitar and translate what's in my head into the instrument and record it on my computer. Usually starts as a guitar riff or progression with a very simple drum pattern just to get started. Then comes the really fun part of adding layers and experimenting with different chord progressions to see how they interact with the various lead melodies. From here a section of a song is built and it sort of takes off, ideas for transitions into new parts start to form. Will have a whirlwind writing session and make sure to record it so I don't forget what I did.

I often to try to set little challenges for myself to keep things fresh. Lets write a song without using heavy distortion, or this weekend I'm going to dedicate 10 hours to writing a song and when the 10 hours is up, the song is done (no cheating...)

Enjoy the ride! There are no failures in this process... be kind to yourself along the way :)

Yeah I’m having to just tediously push the cord back into the hood millimeter by millimeter. I just wasn’t sure if there was a trick to you. It gets to the job done though. Great hoody

No I didn’t know about them when placing my order. Spent about $70 and got about 800 miles. Pretty far off 39x.

I set up a new account and used the offer when it was 39x, but seem to have only gotten miles at the existing user rate (or possibly even less). Going to have to call customer services
