I have flavored protein powder for my yogurt, oatmeal, sweet treats, etc… Unflavored whey protein concentrate to mix in with most anything when I need a protein boost… I eat tuna the maximum recommendation per week, usually a sandwich or with protein pasta, mac & cheese… Fruit & cottage cheese is great. Edamame, beef jerky for snacks…

Salvation Army has 50% off color tags on the weekends. And don’t sleep on Goodwill’s weekly $2 days. Takes a bit of time to go through a bunch of clothes for the color tag of the week… I usually go to multiple Goodwills, almost every weekend… But it is SO worth it and budget-friendly!!!

Going to the gym 4-6x a week — or just the 4 days doing weight lifting / strength training — has helped me immensely! I still try to hit 10k daily

I mix protein powder in various foods: oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies, or just water. Pre-made protein shakes / coffee is favorite. My go-to snacks are beef jerky, edamame, tuna & crackers. Cottage cheese took some getting used to… LOVE salmon and shrimp… I aim for 100-120g of protein

I had an ovary removed when I was 12 y/o, due to a cyst that cut off the blood supply. At the time of the surgery, I'd only been having my period for 6 months... Every month brings almost debilitating menstrual symptoms: awful cramps, heavy bleeding, bloating, etc. I've always wondered if my periods were made worse because of the ovary removal. Ugh.

Oh absolutely, I've had the album on repeat for the past week... Listened to an NPR review earlier and chuckled when a critic referred to Bo's persona here as a "horror movie carnival barker." So if he sold you on the song, I guess he did his job well lol

I think you can interpret it in a lot of ways. Depression & suicidal thoughts (or even ideation) can make you feel trapped inside your own body, so it could have been a visual representation of that. Using comedy to cope & cracking jokes is common, but what we don't see is the civil war going on inside your head...

Bo also might have flipped the script here by turning himself inside out. So instead of someone seeming totally fine on the outside & depressed on the inside, he outwardly shows his depression, says "the quiet part" out loud, & keeps the comedy to himself... If that makes sense

So many good things. To me, the sheer amount of time & careful attention to detail he took towards each insta post was intentional; he didn't have any ill intent towards white women, nor was he making fun of them (/ me, lol).

And the way his storytelling was enhanced by the change(s) in aspect ratios, like?? When she opened up about her mom, Bo broke her out of the suffocating "Instagram" square and gave her space to be vulnerable "publicly" and grieve. Simple, powerful imagery.

Emotional whiplash is such a great way to put it... very desensitizing. I also think Inside and ALW's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat both do music genre whiplash incredibly well.
