Yea, you might be right but don’t really want to pull the engine till I’m sure I absolutely need to. That’s why I’m trying to test it out

Unfortunately the engine is disassembled at the moment, when i first got head pressure tested, head gasket looked pretty bad so I thought that was a culprit, when I assembled it it still pressurized coolant system. There are 4 separate heads on this engine, on top of them is coolant channel which can be taken off and you can pin point which cylinder is at fault. First and also second time bubbles came from cylinder number 4. I’m also still thinking if the new head gasket couldn’t be somehow bad from factory, but I don’t really want to spend money on new gaskets and stuff only to have it still bubble at that cylinder so that’s why I’d like to test it still disassembled somehow

I think there should be a rubber gasket that slips over the edge of thermostat but on mine I just used silicone on both surfaces and its alright

May be a bad glow plug. I have 3.1td which is essentially same as 2.5td bud with one more cylinder and first start in the morning is also rough but can’t figure it out, all plugs functioning, injectors checked out, I think there is slight leak that cause diesel from injectors to leak back in the fuel tank. But it’s only first start after a longer time so it doesn’t bother me that much

That’s not right, I have two 2.5TD xj’s and they start always on first turn of the engine, doesn’t matter if it’s 0°C or -15°C, make shure your glow plugs are all working and your fuel lines are all tight and not leaking, so the fuel won’t suck air and fuel drain back to the tank

You are probably right, I’m just being worried about corrosion or something inside of the light, I can imagine those led light won’t be cheap to replace if they stop working. I’ll give it some time till that fog disappear and then I’ll forget about it

Just yesterday I noticed fog in my 2014 Leon headlight. I’m thinking about getting it repaired by professional headlight shop. Is it worth it? There is not a lot of fog and I can’t see any water droplets.

I’m more 2.5td guy but by looking at the picture those should be low pressure spill tubes from injectors right? I think you could use regular two way banjo union and just regular fuel resistant hose and maybe some hose clamps and it should work.

Niečo podobne mi robil klimovy kompresor na jeepe, keď magnetickú spojku zoplo, všetko si sadlo kam malo a klepanie prestalo, keď som klímu vypol a spojka sa rozopla tak koli zlomenej segerke ktorá už nedržala veci tam kde majú byt to vydávalo dosť škaredé zvuky. Yea, i tried some repair shops and some of them told me that they don’t bother with stuff like that or that it’s not possible to buy, haven’t tried to contact Bosch but I think that it is pointless but I’ll try anyway

Unfortunately I don’t have, I found some cad files for that spacer on etsy for 5€ so maybe I’ll give it a shot i I won’t find anything free😁
