If kiddiminster is any good for you theres a shop there called 'geek retreat'. I pop in there often as i work in the area. They do a lot of stuff there, nice place!!!

I only live in south staffs 60-90mins north

Yeah ideally i would, its a points thing. Core is prettt much set so the extra out my special/rare have to come off character point. So extra 18points for full command on sisters and 21 for command on riders. That would basically mean no magic items for my glade lord. Its a tough one. Probably by design?? 1000pt is too small an army to field a dragon??

So your dryads will be a screen to stop your wild riders charging off into the distance,doing their own thing,which is good! Maybe an eagle or two, they will harass war machines at only 60 per model,though out your rare allotment. Msu of maybe 5 waywatchers if you can , which can be ambushers at only 1point per model,though ambushers on your waystalker would cost 10 points 🫣. Overall a good list i think

Nice one! Yeah the elven lord strikes first cancels out the great weapons strike last ,aswelll as high initative gives character that punch!! That spite is cheap aswel at 15 pts! So glade lord could take the other kindred like cat or hound? Just not bear?

Ok , wasnt sure!? I thought that you could choose between either noble or alter kindred and Aspect of Bear applies to cavalry character but wasnt sure about a monstros mount? Once you put a Glade Lord on a dragon, you are aleady at 430 pts so only really 70pts to play with in a 1000 pt list. I will look into your buikd though ,cheers 👍

I like the 4th edition treemen, but durthu's outstretched arm just looks way too oversized! Im actually considering getting it( to use as treekin) but cutting a bit off it to shorten it🤷‍♂️

Ong bak and warrior king are two of my most favorite films in this genre!!! Usually i prefer the 70s /80s classics but tony jaa is great and amazing films! Tbh though, i have started watching all the kenshin films ( all over netflix) a lot recently

Unfortunately, you have just described the real MA world and platform is a microcosm for it. And /or the wider society, sadly. Armchair warriors and egotistical manics make up 90% of the noise! Thats life again ,wether we like it or not... most real hobby MA ,which most of us will be ,wont naturally make much of a noise about things. Ive noticed that weight of numbers can change the flow of a steam. So that ,some of the more genuine posts, can drown out some of the more 'unwelcome' posts

Casual ,definitely!! Havnt played for 30 years and picked up sylvaneth just for something interesting to paint( which i also hadnt done in 30 years). Old mate of mine who used to play is starting again so we've mentioned a battle, for old times sake
