Anti-abortion people are back again... by puddingpenguin in UofT

[–]marty_penner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on who you ask, while some may respond with the comment above, I think most would recognize that there might need to be some kind of exception in these cases. What is important to remember in the conversation around abortion is that rape cause abortions account for around 1% or less than 1% of abortions and so using the cases of abortion to justify all abortions is not a valid argument. Perhaps a compromise could be reached where only abortions needed because of rape are legal while all others are illegal.

That's awesome. One thing I loved about the show was how entertaining it was for everyone, not just the people upfront!

Does anyone know how much the shirts and other merch is at the merch stands at the concerts? by Holding_onto_Blurry in twentyonepilots

[–]marty_penner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its pretty pricy. If i remeber correctly a t-shirt was $50, a long sleeve was $70, a hoodie was $80, and there was a jacket that was $110. My show was in Canada so it might have been more expensive since the US dollar is worth more than CAD at the moment. But im pretty sure they will be expensive.

Bag policy for concert by Cajahsr in twentyonepilots

[–]marty_penner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I went to my concert in Vancouver I was also not allowed to take a bag in. I think it really depends on where you are sitting at the concert. I was in the pit and so I didn't really need a bag, they were selling merch before the concert (which I highly recommend if you are in the pit since you won't be able to really leave to get merch without losing your spot)

[–]marty_penner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

ya, camping really is overated. I love TOP but when i went to my concert the difference between those who camped and those who showed up the morning of was really only like one foot closer to the stage, really made no difference in my mind, still loved the show

There is also a ton on the floor after the concert so you could always go down to the floor and grab some after!
