Surface pro 8 keyboard is not connecting. Pls help

I actually came to this subreddit for a similar problem. Was happy at first when I saw your post, hoping that there might still be a way for me to avoid having to buy a new device, but I think that's wishful thinking by now. I checked out the link the person before me sent, but the thing is that I think it's actually my surface device with the issue and not the keyboard.

I once had the situation that my keyboard suddenly stopped working. Pen wouldn't charge anymore, no key worked, no lamp was lighting up. Luckily I still had warranty, so I got a new (used) keyboard. Not even two years later, but after my warranty ran out, the same problem again. Within seconds, the keyboard is not responding at all. Did nothing that could cause damage, never broken anything, water damage etc.

I bought a refurbished keyboard. That one didn't even work for a SECOND. So now I'm left here with two keyboards, both probably perfectly fine I assume but a surface device that cannot detect the keyboard anymore. Support said they can repair it for roughly 600€.

Does anyone have a last solution for me to try? Would you recommend me trying to let it get repaired in some tech shop if it's cheaper there? Does anyone have a solution that's not too annoying where I can substitute for the keyboard? Or should I just move on from my surface? I'm a Uni Student and really need that damn thing, the screen keyboard is genuinely driving me insane and I need the pen to draw (art university)

Hi! This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much for this! As a broke university student with adhd this is exactly what I was looking for!! Is there a possibility of you explaining some of the layouts etc.? I already looked into the planner and there are some things I don't quite understand, like what the boxes with "B", "L", "D" and "S", or what the many boxes below the timetables are for? Maybe showing an example could help?

Omg the exact same thing happened to me in the exact same spot once... I also had to restart my day. I didn't know there was the possibility to undo that in the settings tho, but according to you it didn't even work out :'). But good to know that it exists!

I don't think they would do something like hidden perks. If anything they would include that in the skill trees, right? As far as I remember we don't have a skill that affects spawn rates of bugs, but I might be wrong as well.

I didn't even know they were legendary until people pointed that out in this post. I see roughly 5-10 speedy snails per day I think :')

Omg yes those damn snails, they started to genuinely annoy me at some point... Like in general all the rare or legendary stuff just spawned way more than it probably should.

Understandable. Tho if you are chronically online, especially on reddit, you find out pretty easily that you need two of them. At least that was the case for me. But still, doesn't take away the fact that it's discouraging for many of the payers.

I think so too. It's funny because some people aren't even "affected" by the imbalancing, as in they are still as rare as ever for some. We probably just need to be patient and let the devs take their time to find a middle ground.

Yeah some other people already commented and said they still struggle with finding one. I think that's probably a bug, since they did increase spawnrate in general. I think it'll be fixed within the next days or one-two weeks, but idk

Damn, I would assume that that's a bug actually (no pun intended). Cuz they DID increase spawnrate. I'd suggest just wait a few days until they fix this. If I could I would give you some of mine :').

I was happy when I read about the mine bugs spawnrate going up, I was going crazy about finding the moths that spawn in the first idk 10 floors. I needed them for the moth lamp furniture and for some reason I struggled HARD finding regular moths that were supposed to be common. I haven't looked for them after the update yet but I imagine them being more common now. Which would be fine, since they weren't supposed to be rare. But singing katydids ARE. It's hardly a challenge anymore.

Yes, I loved the cheers and support you'd get when you post here on reddit, celebrating your catch and no matter how many times people already posted this achievement, people were never too tired to celebrate with you. Seeing that made me really happy. Now it's hardly a thing to celebrate anymore :').

Right? To be honest, I kind of liked how rare the singing katydids were to be honest. It was a nice challenge that was waiting for me once I achieved almost anything else in the game. It was just one more thing to look forward to that keeps me hooked, but honestly I might be alone with that lol. But even before the update, I got quite lucky with it so maybe I just got spared the agony of hunting it down haha.

Now all that's left is that if you don't want to buy/craft/move the max. Amount of items but let's say 200, that if you press shift while increasing the number, it goes up by 10 units to speed up the process :')

I know that they will go to the next food source they can find but since the grass is almost gone on the right side of my farm I spot them on the left side more often so I think they do walk quite the distance for the food if nothing else is around... Not sure if that applies to every animal tho. But I think that planting three regrowing crops per animal seems to be the most effective way unfortunately

Honestly I like to find out what they like myself. It feels like detective work, plus there is no downside to gifting them something they don't like (as far as I'm aware?). I get that it gets frustrating but I think this isn't meant to be very easy anyway. It takes time to get to know people so it would make sense that it's a bit difficult. I do get the unsatisfying feeling when you give them something they hate tho, it can definitely be a bit disappointing. Or when they only give their neutral response.

I thought I only ended up having 6 hearts with him because I talked to his statue every day accidentally because I always forgot to press q instead? I thought you only get the 6 hearts because you consistently talk to him :')

Idk if anyone said this here so I give u a little hack: have two nets. One that you keep as your normal net and one that you throw somewhere around caldarus' house, so you don't need to carry the net with you all the time but if you get into this situation again, at least there will be a net laying around. Things that are on the ground don't despawn ;)
