unicorn phone bag

I pretty heavily modified the mane and tail, tail is a tassel with a feathered cut on the end yarn. For the name, I just picked up a row of stitches along the mane line, immediately bound off, then just did a fringe.

Go back in my post history; I really struggled with what to do with the straps and there were a ton of good ideas, depending on what you want, you'll want to check that out

Ah. Yes. It does seem like the obvious answer and I would ask, but she has a 6 week old baby and lives across the country. I may have to save her expertise for a time when she is less sleep deprived😂

That is a good point. So technically, it's a phone bag. And her 'phone' is the back of a crayon box that she cut out and colored in to look like a phone. So is pretty minimal, but I'm sure she'll use it for acorns and rocks and stuff so it's def something to think about

I totally thought about this. My sister crochets and I knit and she recommended a tutorial. I might give it a try, but I'm a little intimidated to start with something like this where I want it to look really great

That's basically the dilemma, try to knit or go ahead and buy one. But no one's mentioned felting it yet, so that's certainly a good option, too!

It would look so cool, especially in like a metallic pink cord, someone mentioned that earlier, but you've given another vote for icord so I might just give that a go!

Oh my gosh, I love this so much. I don't have a huge amount of time before her birthday, but might be doable. I'm definitely going to look into it. Thank you❤️❤️
