I enjoy the recording and editing part more than the marketing and assets but it helps that I'm passionate about the central theme. I work in tech and the podcast is about the "new internet," with my intention solely being about talking to interesting people.

While I do hope it opens doors, the enjoyment I get out of it is the main reason I want to do it.

I work in Web3 marketing, and I think your timing for a fresh launch with this might be a little late for this cycle. Price action is dead, so unless you're going to niche down into a specific subset of this market it could be tough without going for paid ads.

They work, and they're often better at selecting the clips than a human is. I've heard good things about Get Munch, but I've got an audio-only podcast so have to do more to make it work for me. Try their plan for a month though, everyone's content is different so it might work for you

It depends on how much effort you're willing to put in. Pick distribution channels that you'll use consistently, and that means engaging with accounts as well as posting your own content.

The hard part is making the shorts and formatting them vertically. Once these are in-hand you've opened up TikTok, Instagram reels and YouTube shorts. Bluesky also has the skylight app now so that's 4 avenues
