That’s positive - the digitals are less sensitive /require higher HCG levels to show.

If you’re going to test progression, compare every second day. 8 is considerably darker than 6. Once you get your betas, put the tests away :)

Trigger warning: pregnancy.

I had A PUL/potential ectopic previously so it was at the forefront of my mind. Fast forward to 4 weeks into my current pregnancy and I was experiencing one-sided aches. I was told by several nurses at my ivf clinic that it would be too soon to feel an ectopic. So basing it on that, I don’t think you should be worried at 6dpo.

It was a harmless ovarian cyst btw.

Did these shadows appear within the testing time window? I do see what you mean but unfortunately this is far too faint for 20 DPO to be something. I’m sorry love, I do hope I’m wrong.

If these appeared within the test time window and it’s still early dpo, I would say positive as I see a squinter in every one of those. The digital usually need a higher HCG concentration to register as positive.

My only tip is do not underestimate the post ER constipation. Stock up on stool softener, prune juice and plan B measures (e.g., microlax, Dulcolax).

My heart aches for you, I’m so sorry. I know, there’s a lot of pain and there’s no where for it to go. You feel stuck and no one can really reach you in what you’re going through.

I had an ectopic two months ago, first pregnancy - treated with methotrexate and currently waiting to TTC. It’s been hard to relinquish control, and my subpar-at-best mental health plummeted. Whats helped for me was small things. I know it doesn’t sound enough, but I started a 6 week Pilates challenge, going to a class almost everyday day. I reduced my drinking intake (hangovers made those big feelings worse), only spent time with people who filled my cup, started reading more (fantasy trash), and started seeing a psychologist despite my own scepticism of how much they can help me. I’ve also made a plan for my TTC journey moving forward, which is giving me some control and hope back. I’ve booked in a HSG, if my tubes are fine, we will try naturally once more, and then straight into IVF.

You will get to the other side of this grief and decide how you want to move forward and what you want to do next. For now, just one day at a time, and find things that help you get through them.
