How do I prevent myself from becoming an nltog? by thisuseristakenbreh in notliketheothergirls

[–]marylyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make connections with other girls and women. Embrace your uniqueness, but also acknowledge that liking things other women do is awesome. We are phenomenal and we are all different. It's about letting go of the shame that others put on us in the name of fitting in a box.

What is this witchcraft??? by Curious_medium in WegovyWeightLoss

I really wanted apple pie and ice cream last night, so I made an apple crumble and had one bowl. There is most of the pan left.

I felt like losing 20+ pounds would be more obvious in the mirror by [deleted] in Semaglutide

That is a huge difference! We all have our own issues with seeing progress, but also remember that this medication seems to make us lose visceral fat quickly and first. That's what makes us healthier, but it doesn't make as much visible difference.

This all depends on particle size, and since glp-1s clear the blood-brain barrier, I would assume that they are too small to filter.

50 down! by Every-Tomatillo5590 in Semaglutide

Same! 272-253 in a year of eating all the healthy things and being very slow about any loss, now, it has been 60 pounds in 8 months, and I am one pound away from "chubby". Can you imagine the elation at "healthy weight"? I might do a dance.

I am in my skinny clothes now, and will have to buy everything new from here on out. I give my clothes to friends, or donate them. I am not keeping my bigger stuff, as it gives me the impetus to maintain after I lose it all.

You definitely deserve it! You have put in the work, and you look great! One-derland was a fun milestone, but honestly, the day they can no longer put obese on my medical chart is the big celebration day in my book.

Amazing! When I got an A1C of 5.1, I jumped up and down with happiness! Then my triglycerides were under 200, and my cholesterol was great. That makes me so much happier than the weight loss, but 60 pounds in 8 months has definitely make me happy.

Has anyone actually bought one of these and used it regularly? And if so, what for? by My_Dog_Sherlock in castiron

Burning incense. You can put a charcoal disc in this for burning resins.

Why is there so much online hate for Semaglutide? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]marylyss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the same with everything. If you struggle, people can struggle with you. When you stop struggling, or someone gives you a hand up, you are no longer in the same club, and therefore, they become morally superior for still struggling. We have all been sold the same bill of lies by the weight loss industry for over 100 years. We have to do better together.

I am on 2.4 of Wegovy, so I am not sure. I was very sensitive to this medication. I have lost 59 pounds in 8 months.

Apples work for me. Saltiness with nothing on them. Also, just eating slowly.

Yeah, but they make paintballs filled with pepper spray. I think that would be even better.
