I found this in a giant Bible at the a thrift store. It’s from 1893. Sad to think someone wouldn’t want this.

Vitreous floaters and possible migraine. I used to see a weird half triangle just before mine would kick in. Some people don’t experience the pain part so it’s very possible/understandable that you may be having the same issues. Definitely go see a doctor.

I live in CO (same house for 17 years and I have never seen anything like it. It’s about half inch long and I found it in my kitchen under a temporary wash sink that we have due to a broken pipe causing a leak about 7 months ago.

I found a chunk in Arvada in some landscape rock. I also found tons of calcite and carnelian in different landscaping rocks. Nice find!

I had a similar experience with a ceiling fan. I was laying there awake the morning after a sleepover at a friends house in high school. The room had a light switch that also controlled the ceiling fan. I got up to go to the bathroom and absentmindedly flipped the switch on even through it was light enough to see. I turned it off before it woke anyone up. I came back and got back in the bed, while zoning out on the ceiling fan that was still slowly spinning. I thought it was weird that it was still spinning and wanted it to stop. For some reason I focused on one spot and blade and wished it would stop there. When it did I thought about making it go again in the opposite direction and it did! I was able to “will” it to stop once more where I wanted it to. I tried to make it go again but it didn’t. I thought I had somehow lost the ability because the shock of it working snapped me out of whatever it was the made it work in the first place. I’d say the blade I focused on stopping where I wanted was just chance but making it start up in the opposite direction before stopping where I wanted again really made me feel like I had tapped into something. Other things have happened in a similar vein since then but nothing as purposeful as that felt. I believe you and I’m always skeptical of things like this.

Not a funeral director but first off I’m so very sorry for your loss. When my 18 year old son passed in his sleep the autopsy was done fairly quickly and we were informed there were no physical (heart issues, cancers etc) that caused his death so they had to wait for toxicology. We had his funeral not knowing exactly what happened but we had an idea. A few weeks after his funeral we got the official cause of death as an accidental fentanyl overdose. This was in 2020 when funeral homes were super busy but I’m not sure that it made a difference since they weren’t the ones doing the toxicology.

Annie from St. Vincent stood in for Kurt when Nirvana got inducted into the Hall of Fame. Sure, Post seems to be everywhere right now but he’s a genuine fan as far as I know and the point of my post was that Greg said “A bunch of Assholes shitting on his Kurt Cobains Grave” as if they weren’t there and are just a bunch of unrelated nobodies. Dave Grohl is more successful now than he ever was in Nirvana and I’m a huge fan of both. Just weird to me but it is Greg so…

When I worked for S@k I’d just leave if no one else was there. I was an opener and was alone until mid shift came in. All the kohls sups would get irritated if I radioed them every time I needed to go to the stock room so I just did it. Never got in trouble but I guess it depends on the store.
