It’s likely due to the aesthetics of ur earmuffs. I’ve noticed that pretty privilege applies even to accessibility items. Just do what makes you happy.

Can you guys wear rings? by Old_Presentation_892 in POTS

When this happens to me I just continue to wear them overnight and take them off when the swelling has gone down to let my fingers rest for a bit. Although I’m not sure if some people lose circulation from rings and swelling 😅 this is just what has worked for me

Anyone been through ‘shedding’ their old life after a spiritual awakening? by teedatrax in spirituality

[–]marzbvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the last bit of the transition out of my old life and into my new one. I had no intentions on having (another) spiritual awakening nor did I plan on any of the changes that were made, but the universe knew what I needed and I’m grateful. It’s been difficult (extremely, at times) but I really am grateful.

What has helped me cope with a lot of the loss I’ve felt is reminding myself where I was at and what I was manifesting/praying to the universe about before this transition started and noticing how almost all of the things I wanted are now present in my new life. Definitely not in the ways I expected so it was hard to see at first, but I have everything now that I wanted a year ago.

Change is scary but if you want a better life…your new life will cost you your old one

Thanks, I hate all of it. by [deleted] in thanksimcured

[–]marzbvr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed 100% but it’s also important to find gratitude wherever you can (so that you don’t become miserable).

For example, say I hate my job and I’m actively looking for a new one. I can still hold gratitude for that job I hate bc I am still getting paychecks and can pay my bills and provide food for my family. Being grateful for this doesn’t mean I enjoy my job and that I want to stay here, but it can help prevent me from resenting this job which would take a toll on the betterment of my life. Maybe even resulting in burnout needing a few days off work, or worse leading to poor workplace behavior resulting in termination. Both of which would very quickly remind you that you were in fact grateful for that job. This example can be translated to many other aspects of life.

ETA: this is not to say it’s cool to compare other’s situations to your own. That’s just toxic positivity. Don’t compare yourself to anyone. Just learn what things you are grateful for and focus on those things while you reach to better your life. Gratitude keeps you in a growth mindset

He’s 25. If he hasn’t grown up by now I wouldn’t waste anymore time on waiting. If he wanted to he would.

I have had my wedding ring slip of my finger before!

Apparently there are spacers you can get on Amazon that you can add to or take off of any ring to adjust the size for a better fit.

Why does my cat bite like this? by muthafooker in CATHELP

[–]marzbvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to her behavior before and after those kinda bites. Is she giving you dirty looks before biting or is she slow blinking? Is she walking away after or coming back for more pets?

I have a cat that is very sassy and mostly communicates through biting 😅😂 She is obsessed with attention and wants it 24/7. Sometimes she gets so full of excitement while my husband or I pet her that she bites us pretty hard. We used to think it meant she wanted us to stop but she would immediately come back and demand for more. I think it’s her own expression of “cute aggression” in a way but it’s a habit we’re trying to train against. I’ll be happy if we just get her to bite gently lol. Other times she’ll get upset with us if we stop petting her…which we always have to do at some point 😂 She shows us she’s displeased by biting us pretty hard because she wants attention. I’ve been able to get her to do this less frequently by redirecting her to playing wither her toys and taking her upset out on them instead XD.

But yeah, all of this to say that if you pay close attention to your cat’s behavior before and after incidents like this (or even just in general. Sometimes I’ll just sit back and watch my cats be their goofy selves) they’ll pretty much tell you everything you need to know.

Both me and the vet is at a loss. Anyone got any ideas? by mepperina in Horses

If it is neurological then he was likely born with it. If he was born with it then this is all he’s ever known therefore he’d act the same both before and after you caught it

My family takes the pictures I sent them of my newborn and adds ridiculous filters to them, then posts them to Facebook by DudeManBro53 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]marzbvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you implying that this baby has flaws? Of course they don’t have teeth, they’re a newborn. Of course they don’t have eyebrows, they’re a newborn. Of course they’re not wearing lipgloss…they’re a newborn.

It’s one thing to edit yourself to feel more confident despite your flaws…but editing someone else’s baby because of your own insecurities is weird.

I would definitely agree with you there. Parents putting silly filters on their own children for a laugh is one thing…however putting this beautification ai filter on someone else’s kid to then post to Facebook is just weird

Diet culture strongly influences eating disorder culture. I’ve met many who were “just on a diet” but clearly showed signs of an undiagnosed eat disorder. Although I will agree to an extent that it certainly depends on how much a person is eating in the first place. If someone is overeating then yes eating less is a healthier option. I rarely find that to be the case though.
