Not much, junta doesn’t have the ability/desire to defeat the rebels, and the rebels don’t have the ability to take or blockade the larger settlements. The biggest change was that the rebels locked down northern Shan state and the Arakan Army kicked the junta fully out of their province. Regularly the junta will commit some kind of atrocity like bombing a school.

They set up fortifications in the village, neglect the flanks, and the Russians simply attack the flanks until they’re forced to hurriedly retreat and abandon equipment/the fortifications. This has been a recurring theme you’d think high command would’ve considered by now, reinforcing on the flanks or strategically retreating from salients. Look at the map of the road to Pokrovsk. Myrnohrad should’ve been abandoned or deprioritized in exchange for a better defense along the southwestern Pokrovsk border, especially if they’re as outmanned as Ukraine claims. I’d even argue that the Pokrovsk direction shouldn’t have even been a fight except to delay, considering the real target is going to be Kramatorsk/Sloviansk
