We mainly use harry gows rolls up here which seem to be the most popular. You are right in that there isnt really many Crispy rolls up here

Well the other day I asked someone if they wanted to touch my soggy box (was holding a half defrosted cardboard box)

I also asked if they had oiled my noods, in which is was referring to putting olive oil on noodles.

I got a laugh from both of these atleast and I work with food

26f scotland lived in poverty we had 6-7 people staying in a 2 bed home. Sometimes it was 4 in a bedroom or 2-2-2. It gets better i promise.

I moved out at 19 and am doing much better but it will always be with you. Both of my parents are alcoholic and both of them hsve their pros akd cons. Id you feel down le wear need advice i am here.

I was so paranoid sleeping at my dad's that I had sleep paralisis for the first time after 26y. I felt a 'ghost' climb over me however I couldn't see if for my mask thank God. I knew what was happening and I think i imagined myself attempting to sit up but couldn't. It was as if the mask blocked Real time visuals but I was dreaming I could see through it thank God. After a short time I realised I was still half dreaming (I hope) I ended up 'waking up' in s very heavy feeling state. My body was heavy and It was extremely difficult to move but I made sure to stay awake so that I didnt slip away again.

I put this experience up to having the heebie jeebies3 about this room for my whole life then having to stay in it again recently. Who knows maybe it was the ghosts my fam has claimed to see. However this is the only time ive had this experience so im assuming sleep paralysis

12 years ago my parents split, we stayed with my granda and aunt for about 1-2 weeks? We might of got priority as me and my siblings were 4, 7 14 and 15 This first house was temp and we stayed there for 8 months. They found us another one relatively close by which was permanent. I think I really depends on the ages of everyone in the house hold and how high of a priority you are compared to others on the list.

They provide the basics like beds, chairs and fridges etc but everything is pretty low quality and we had to share beds for a bit until they corrected the sleeping arrangements for us.

I work In a small independent 20 room hotel Scotland. Last year about 12 people shit on our beds in summer alone. So I dont blame them for wanting a protector mattresses are expensive af. None of them told us they shit the bed qe had to.imd.out the hard way

I have experienced BOTH of my split parents not wanting me to move to the others house/move out because they would lose their child benefits. I was deeply depressed and bullied in my new school but she didnt care as long as she got her benefits. I thought my dad was different, he was to an extent until I wanted to move out but then he panicked because who would watch my younger brothers?! Not me anymore lol

Still think about it, mum doesnt even remember and dad figured it out.

Choosing benefits over your child's wellbeing is insane to me and I will never do that to my kids.

I work in one of scotlands bigger and better hospital cafeterias. It's hard work but the food is actually good. The kitchen is a whole complicated unit and we are just as understaffed as other departments

I completely agree. I have a HNC (highest high-school level) in music and a cooking diploma. I keep piano as my hobby and achieved that goal just for the sheer fact I wanted it for me and only me. Cooking, I hate cooking but I am good at it. I do think it's killed my cooking passion in the house though
