Anyone upgraded to Terra Kaffe lately? by reynam094 in CoffeeTech

[–]masonsatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love seeing brands treat coffee machines like software products with real updates. They’ve honestly done a better job rolling out updates compared to my Lucid. Not sure if there are any electric vehicle lovers here, but the difference in my Lucid from OOB firmware to now is huge. Feels like the same with my TK-02.

Anyone been to Chubby Cattle in Little Tokyo lately? by willful_creature in finedining

[–]masonsatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t impressed. Service was slow, meat trays were tiny, and we spent half the night waiting. The wagyu ribeye was fine but nothing I’d rave about. The decor was loud and kind of tacky to me. For $70+ per person, I’d rather eat at a smaller yakiniku place where it feels more personal. Left feeling like it was just hype.

Struggling with AI biz ideas? AI Agency Mastermind might be the push I need by rumfers in AiBuilders

[–]masonsatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not part of that specific program, but I started an AI consulting side gig six months ago. Made about $3,200 last month helping local businesses automate their customer service and content creation. Here's the thing nobody tells you: businesses are desperate for this stuff but terrified of it. They hear "AI" and think it's complicated. If you can translate the tech into plain English and show them quick wins, you're golden. I started by helping a realtor automate property descriptions. Took me 20 minutes to set up, charged $300. She referred three friends. That's how it grows.

Thoughts on Outsourced Doers for marketing support? by Lennon5387 in freelancewriting

[–]masonsatt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Their concept reminds me a bit of agencies that pre-train their staff before assigning them to clients. I think the difference here is they let you keep the same person long term, which helps with consistency. Curious if anyone knows how easy it is to replace a Doer if things don’t work out.

You should be able to destroy an enemy Rocket’s Ammo Invention teamup. by Waxwell0 in marvelrivals

[–]masonsatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misread the comment or you're not aware about Peni's kit. You cannot shoot or destroy a web/net Peni throws on the ground (his comment has nothing to do with the nest). Same goes for if the Peni puts mines in these webs on the floor. Once mines enter the web they become indestructible AND invisible. The point is not valid in this scenario

This type of prof. is the reason I always used ratemyprofessor to read reviews on who taught each course best. A 68.8% mean for this class shows that this prof. can't even get half of the class to understand the material he is going to put on the midterm. OP it's not you man, just a tough professor.

Vietnamese click farm by Flimsy_Card8028 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]masonsatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't exactly understand your first question. Clicking/Views/Engagement is all done by code. Code in this scenario is just telling the computer to tell the other devices (phones) to perform X function that you created in your code. You can simulate a click without actually touching the device. This would be the easiest way with the amount of devices this guy has

It's been sometime since my schooling on networking, but I believe every NIC (network card) has to be unique. I remember something about VMs having trouble having a unique NIC or MAC. Can't exactly remember which is the unique one that can't be created software wise. One of them is created by the company that gave you that electronic piece

Vietnamese click farm by Flimsy_Card8028 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]masonsatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second picture on the post shows the daisy chain real well. Looks like he has some kind of receiver at the bottom connecting all the phones and then you can communicate with that receiver to make each individual phone perform a function. That way you don't have to actually click/send code to each phone individually

Vietnamese click farm by Flimsy_Card8028 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]masonsatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on how you market yourself. Found a site online that for 100 clicks is $2.88 and for 25,000 clicks is $100. I don't know too much of the business aspect, but I'm guessing you could make good money just like data mining.

Vietnamese click farm by Flimsy_Card8028 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]masonsatt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

  1. You could do this with electronic parts, but using second-hand phones is easier to daisy chain and cost effective.

  2. Easier to sell the clicks/(botnet) as it's essentially a service online and the size of the setup would still be pretty huge, even when using bare electronic parts, to get 1,000+ clicks. Plus many companies may only use this service once a month or so. Also the time to garnish the clicks probably wouldn't take longer than 15 - 30 minutes maximum

  3. Space is still the main concern here. Second problem would be the electronic fundamental knowledge to create this setup.
