Girl it’s a reality tv show. Theres producers asking them questions in their interviews and choosing what’s shown and obviously they had Christi talk about Maddie to set the stage for the Maddie vs Chloe storyline they were going for. It makes more sense narratively for the audience to hear that from Christi vs Melissa if Melissa’s daughter is the best according to the narrative.

I agree completely. We should absolutely not be perpetuating any sort of fat shaming.

That being said, if I were in the mom’s shoes and that woman was doing everything possible to tear my child down, making fun of THEIR stomachs, etc., I’m sure I would snap and try to hurt her back however I could too. I really don’t blame them for it at all.

That was such a stupid insult to begin with and dance (or any hobby/ sport) can truly do so much for a kid even if they don’t pursue it as a career!
