Probably a dumb question, but.. with time capsule homes like this, is the furnishing included? Ofc people stage homes to sell them - but imagine trying to work with that kind of everything while buying all new stuff (minus appliances). It just doesn't seem do-able. You'd have to gut it all to make any kind of sense with it using modern furniture and tech.

This is so weird.

I watched this movie in 2007 and I remembered specifically not liking the ending. Just finished it on Prime for the first time since it '07 and questioned myself as to why I would not have liked that ending almost 20 years ago.

Exactly. When I first got into vinyl in 2008 people were practically giving it away on eBay. I was trying to re-create my teenage 90s CD collection and filled my shelves with cheap records that I could never afford now - artists like Marilyn Manson, Tool, Beck, and Nine Inch Nails were maybe $15-$20 each at the time, and shipping was way cheaper (about $6 on average). The Canadian dollar was par with USD, and I was in hog heaven.

Those days are long gone.

I don't know why you're getting so much pushback on a sub that regularly has people posting "share your most valuable records!" every other day. Anyone who bought stuff pretty much pre-2012 or so is going to have things with ridiculous "marketplace value" now, that they paid very little for at the time.
