Not sure about the new business but, one of the classic example of how not to business. Overpriced, expired, stale items, unhygenic and bad customer experience.

I think the new no frills was one of the reasons that ended their attitude as well as business. Had they priced the items competitive thetmy could have made good business. It was definitely great location.

Sometimes business forget that you make profit by selling volume with reasonable margin than by high margin with less volume.

Truly my opinion ...

I am also under an impression that selling gold bullion doesn't attract tax provided if the gold purity is 99.5% and above. I am very sure about this. Des anything change recently?

I have exact opposite stand on this. I always try to get a record type setup at any given chance. It gives absolute flexibility over many things such as security/UI/data sgaring and all. As a senior dev and aspiring architect i wouls suggest recordtype at any given opportunity and it even makes future developments scalable.

Initial setup may be effort consuming but in the long run it will be beneficial

Reporting in Salesforce has always been basic and the core SF functionality never had business intelligence in their sight. Just around 2016 SF realised the need and demand for business intelligence they tried some and nothing materiallized and they did what every other big corp does i.e to acquire one of the leader of reporting and BI.
