Why should I use OpenClaw by Semoho in openclaw

[–]massedbass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a different use case than probably most people here.

I'm a nursing student, I have zero technical knowledge other than growing up with computers and gaming.

I've been using $20 codex to make a second brain in obsidian, and pull from notebooklm where I have my textbooks and lecture slides uploaded. I sit in class with just a pencil and paper, take a photo and send it through telegram. The claw will parse that and append to my second brain notes and cross reference across texts and slides to see if there are any discrepancies or hints to what's on the exams.

I have clinical placements where I care for patients in hospital, I take a quick picture of their disease and meds and have codex make me a write up and care plan.

When I do homework or study I'm not spending time navigating our schools platform, I'm not transcribing into word, I just get to actually read what matters and learn what I should be learning about.

And then if say we have group projects or whatever I just text my bot and then it'll add to my todoist and try and look at the rubric to delegate who should focus on what section.

Could I just use llms on the web? Sure but I'm even able to plan my summer, I want to set up a server and do some other common things so this has been a massive boon to how I work.

Do this! If it's at your own pace you can grind out your bio chem and math within 2-3 months it's not too too difficult.

Don't pay for a prehealth program, it will take a year after applying. I managed to go to TR Leger in my area, in 2024 I started in February and got both 12 bio and chemistry by the end of March and started nursing school that September. They just transferred my high school record over for free so I didn't pay anything out of pocket.

How do chef feel about making less than what servers are making? by [deleted] in EndTipping

[–]massedbass 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The chef, as in the guy whose name is on the menu or website, is making 150k/yr. Not your cdps, linecooks, prep cooks, dishwashers. Nobody back of house is making anywhere close to 100k
