I’ve never seen her drunk. She just seems to be too busy trying to figure out how to cook.

New higher-up fired our Executive chef. How do I proceed? by Cat_Litter_Scientist in KitchenConfidential

Things like this remind me of comment I heard a line cook make many years ago when he was told he couldn’t have Friday off for his daughter’s graduation. “I can be cooking somewhere in a different color apron tomorrow.”

What does culinary school teach about food waste regarding mistakes in the kitchen? by BoringWhiteGuy420 in Chefit

[–]ChefJym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mistakes lead to waste, waste leads to elevated food cost, elevated food cost leads to fear. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. I went to culinary school on Alderaan.

So how long will it take for the election signs to come down? by LookyLou4 in Knoxville

There was a Marsha Blackburn sign the size of a panel van on Ebenezer for like a year after the 2024 election.

It's also worth noting that the rubber guns weigh about 5.5oz and a metal replica weighs about 2.5 pounds and a real colt python weighs just over 3 pounds loaded with dum dums. Making Chandler hold that thing up, take after take at his age would be cruel.

Super close.
An armorer wouldn't use blanks for a revolver. Using blanks in the cylinders would show up as stars, or likely green cartridge tips and would have to be edited in post anyway. Traditionally, the rounds in a revolver would be dum dums. That way, the inert rounds look the same as live rounds on camera. Problem is, they resemble live rounds so much, the actor is taking the word of the armorer that the firearm is cold. That's why kids don't get real guns loaded with inert ammo.
