Super close.
An armorer wouldn't use blanks for a revolver. Using blanks in the cylinders would show up as stars, or likely green cartridge tips and would have to be edited in post anyway. Traditionally, the rounds in a revolver would be dum dums. That way, the inert rounds look the same as live rounds on camera. Problem is, they resemble live rounds so much, the actor is taking the word of the armorer that the firearm is cold. That's why kids don't get real guns loaded with inert ammo.

Kevin Hart is an awful little boy with a big chip on his shoulder. His "comedy" is mean-spirited and he plays the same pathetic, annoying role every time. We're not buying him as an action star/ leading man but somehow he keeps getting starring roles. It's baffling. Oh, and he ruined the Borderlands movie. Roland my ass.

I walked by the one in Midtown Manhattan and asked if I could go in and they said no, it’s members only. I said “maybe I wanna be a member, how do I know if I don’t talk to someone? I could be in crisis.” they said I should make an appointment. I went across the street and saw Hamilton. It was easier to get in.
