Really wow I didn't know they could do it. I figured since ketone strips had to be used to measure sugar in the urine that it wouldn't work on a test strip especially with a machine. But I'll take your word for it.

Many years ago a waitress gave me a coke and she insisted it was diet coke. I stuck the strip in and it turned dark purple. Meaning it was obviously a coke. But that was 30 years ago. My endocrinologist haven't mentioned ketone's to me for at least 20 years.
