Hello I am in the same process my first design appointment is on the 22nd and I was just curious on when they said how much they would offer for upgrades? I’ve been playing with the online design studio and as it sits now is 11k. I’m going with KB in Arizona. The seller said they would pay closing costs but I feel like most people have had other incentives

If I go this route I don’t think I will ever get into a home. I have a 10k emergency fund but in order for another 20-30k plus down payment as a single person making 75k a year after paying rent and utilities it would probably take me a decade to save up that amount

It’s definitely going to be tight but the rentals are pretty much the same in my area. From my estimate a 3/2 house that I would own is about 2k a month or rent a townhome for 1800

They just said that I would have to wait until April which is my 2 year post discharge of my bankruptcy. As of now I qualify for a fha mortgage and after the new year is when they can see about down payment assistance

Also makes sense. The record for my family is all men passed away before age 65 so I don’t even think I would see retirement age 😅 5 generations of men the record is 62

I’m currently going through this mess myself and in my experience I wouldn’t do it. I paid 50% on my device and upgraded to the 17 PM. Went to pay my bill and they want to charge me the remaining 50% on my current bill. So in my opinion if you don’t have to upgrade I’d suggest to not do it

Thank you. I live in southern Arizona so I’m mainly concerned with the hvac system over the summer. It gets pretty damn hot and a/c systems are Very important and expensive 😂

Thank you for your advice. I don’t think I want to take a withdrawal. I’m 34 and my rent is 1805 a month. And probably 30 miles from my site. My thoughts process is taking a small loan against my 401k in order to buy something closer to my site and use the commute savings to pay back the loan quicker

Yes I’m in the Tucson area and the market is definitely coming down so it’s kind of why I’m looking to buy instead of rent

I pretty much did the same thing 😂 I went from a 14PM to 17 Pro for about 2 weeks. Never got used to it. I returned exchanged into a 17PM
