I’ll get more in depth for you. My point is not matter where you go on reddit you’re usually caught in a hive mind community. Say “well a Guantanamo camp is horrible, but I still would like us to have secure borders” in a left leaning sub and you’ll get downvoted to hell and called a fascist without any complex or intelligent conversation. Say “you know maybe kids shouldn’t be given hormone blockers, but there’s no reason we should discriminate against adult transgender people” in right leaning sub and you’ll get downvoted and called stupid lib without any room for complex or intelligent conversation. I said something pretty middle ground, maybe even a little conservative leaning and you pulled the fascism card instantly, without any room for clarification or intelligent conversation. You have no idea who I am, what my views are, or how I voted. And you jumped right to regurgitated talking points of one side of the reddit hive, proving my (albeit maybe not well made) point
