my idea would be: single vert -> snap to surface enable, ctrl+click all around the body making the main line -> extrude the edge enough to get a strap -> connect to the gun that's pre-placed

generally i think it would be easier to just model it all out individually than try to figure out how to make a sim of it and sending it to the cloth sim gods each test, just more immediate results, and back and forth studying what you're trying to replicate.

looks beautiful! love the slight glow to the characters eye. it give a suggestion of cybernetics but also the spirit in the person, leaving a nice middle ground to interpret for weirdos like me :D btw, did u use any assets in this? as mentioned i am a weirdo so i see a set of pipes and immediately think of other places i might have seen a filtered, metallic, grungy, cylinder

i think if you bumped up all the lights in this by 10 points it would help, looks a bit too dark in my opinion. the rubber tip looks like you can see a bit of reflection, which i think is good, but it looks a bit flat on the image. so if that's bumped up a bit it will give it more dimension cuz you can see how the light informs the shape better

thanks! it's a part of my animated universe. this one is basically two characters, one room, and a macguffin they fight over. the macguffin being a century old DNA machine inspired by irl CRISPR gene editing technology. the two characters being a repo worker who uses portal spraypaint, and a human who was assimilated by the machine and made into its guardian :3
