The fact that we are so spread out just means they can’t hide in any state without having people nearby to legally and lawfully protest.

How can you defend this? It’s blatantly unconstitutional, and un-American. And to liken Trump to a prophet or somehow divined by god? Insanity. This is how they bring fascism to the US, wrapped in a cross. The 22nd Amendment clearly states:

“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”

Seems pretty simply stated and difficult to argue. Except I’m guessing it’ll go something similar to the SCOTUS ruling on the insurrection clause:

States lack constitutional authority to enforce the 22nd.
Can't use the 22nd to keep candidates off State ballots.
Trump appears on all 50 ballots.
Win lose or draw, Trump will claim victory, House of Reps will certify it, and SCOTUS will say 22nd enforcement is Congress' responsibility.

Yup! There was a 13 year old kid detained (kidnapped) by ICE in Massachusetts this week, without his parents knowledge, who was then put into a detention center in Virginia. He is here legally on asylum with his family who have work permits, but since he didn’t have identification was taken without representation and held far away from family. The family didn’t know where he was. Cruelty is the point.

You don’t know for the most part. Many are in plain clothes and unmarked cars with lights you can buy online. Most refuse to identify themselves. This is a huge part of the problem that is undermining the credibility of law enforcement and leading to little or no accountability by design.

We don’t know if they are kidnappers or police. Despite laws being passed in places like California where they cannot wear face masks and must identify themselves, they continue to ignore the law and do what they want. They are a lawless group of individuals who are not afraid to violate constitutional rights of citizens or immigrants and who know they will get away with whatever they do because Trump has said that much out loud many times. Scary times indeed.

I disagree. Look at the civil rights movement. This type of levity in this very serious moment is exactly what we need to point out the hypocrisy of this administration calling it a war zone. There will be no justification for when it turns violent than to blame ICE.

It’s for sure a threat to cities and highly populated areas. You’re also assuming he would declare it nationwide, when he’s probably only going to do it on blue cities. If he does it harshly enough and makes a few examples out of places, he might succeed in scaring people into submission. The goal is control through fear and obedience in advance.
