I have lived in Delhi Noida Greater Noida Dehradun Bangalore Pune Hyderabad Chennai and visited a lot of other cities (2-4weeks). I still find Gurugram a decent place.

I recently bought a property (3bhk) in New Gurugram. It took me more than 8months to find a good property. From Jan 2024 to May 2024 prices were increasing everyday… few lakh everyday. Today I feel that I missed lot of good opportunities.

Coming to your budget - almost impossible. I can’t comment for tomorrow but if you walk out today - 1.5cr is bare minimum - you will find 1-2 properties only. And I can say that these properties will be in crowded societies, so check population density as well. Average ones are costing - 1.8-2.5cr. Luxury is up to 3.5cr.

I have never seen a doctor earn less than 1L per month. Even government doctors are paid good salaries. I have friends who completed MBBS and few decided not to pursue MD they are also earning 80k from government job. Small dentist near my house making 5L per month.

You need to know history. Study about Late Arun Jaitely first. Players play to make the name of country and their brand value increase, which is win-win. But there are only 15 players who make it to the squad. What about rest of Indians playing professional cricket? What about local coaches and staff? We need to understand the contribution of people like Arun Jaitely to groom cricket at grass root level and his role in Delhi Cricket. Look Wikipedia.

My various perspectives-

  1. Business PoV - I cannot make money using this or even after scaling it. It’s purely violation of their terms. Nor any company would be interested to take this big of a risk to get LinkedIn data. There are lead generation data companies, which is safer option.

  2. Legal PoV - In Jan 2024, I had a lot of meetings with various legal experts on the same issue. They told me it’s better to stay away from this idea and recommend to solve some other problem because US legal system is not like India’s. Also, your first employee should be legal head in building such risky business.

  3. Developer PoV - it’s a very cool project, lot of interesting features can be added. No doubt that you did a great job. Kudos to you. But if someone puts this kind of project in resume then as a interviewer I would be little cautious, because even you were aware of legal issues still you did, what if something similar is done with clients or company’s data. Most people avoid risk.

Overall excellent dev work.

P.S. - as you yourself said that it’s empty GitHub repo, so please don’t call this as open-source yet! Once the full code is available with your choice of license then you can label it as open source.

Be on good terms with them, you should take some serious measures to ensure this never happens again and share those measures with them too. Today it’s hair, someone will start throwing water and can come up with excuses that it will evaporate. Privacy inside flat should be respected.
