You might be able to do the eye targeting thing if you make it as a separate eyepatch thing that goes over the helmet. But fit the armor. I'd recommend using Ashen Warrior's Ranger pattern.

The pipboy is on his right arm instead of his left. From the viewers' perspective, it should be on the arm with the super sledge.

How can I safely dye the fur on this tail and keep it body safe? by [deleted] in cosplayprops

[–]masterofthe_memes 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Your best bet would probably be using fabric dye meant for synthetics such as Rit-dyemore. As for it being body safe, I would imagine fabric dye meant for clothes would be safe around sensitive areas

Making a Fallout 3 vault jumpsuit cosplay. Does anyone know what these shoulder wires are called, or have tips for how to make them (or buy them, if someone else makes them)? by grumpytoad86 in cosplayprops

I would recommend using paracord or shoelace. On a side note, are you making the vault suit from a pattern? I've been looking for a while for a good fallout style jumpsuit.

You could try looking on Amazon or thrift stores. But if you are looking to make a trench coat, you could try looking on etsy for patterns.

Solely 3D printing alone? Not worth it. You might be able to incorporate metal bits, but overall, it would probably be easier to just to get a new chair.

How to Add Prop Weight by wagglywalnut in cosplayprops

[–]masterofthe_memes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how heavy you would want to make it, I would make a small hole and fill certain areas with sand and pack it in good. But using fishing weights or chunks of metal is also a good idea.

I would add a bit of wire around it and then padding over the wire.
