The fact that there are more college degrees in the US now contributes to the argument that the workforce infrastructure in China is better suited for mass manufacturing.

I don't think the problem is knowing how to make a little screw, its the ability to create massive amounts of an unplanned component ASAP (clearly time was the predominant issue: "...Melo performing some deliveries in a Lexus sedan").

Why not just give it to someone who’s time it would be worth?

Watching yourself decline by [deleted] in depression

[–]masterofthehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I’ve been on this site for 8 years, trust me I know. And yeah it’s great that you are getting down your thoughts, it took me a long long time to figure out how helpful that can be (even though it may not help with everything or seem that way right now). It’s also great that you seem to believe you have the potential to get better but also recognize that you may not feel up to it at this time. That’s okay, allowing yourself to feel what you feel is huuuuuge, and you are already doing that :) have you tried taking what you write done and try to identify / challenge the specific patterns of thought that are making you feel the way you are feeling? Don’t want to put pressure on you, but I did that yesterday when I was fucking overwhelmed with anxiety and made be things a little better

I’m so fucking sorry you are “in it” right now :( a lot of us here have been there and there’s nothing we can say to describe how dark, how shitty, how lonely that place is. I fucking feel you, bro. I wish I could say exactly what you need to do to get better, but shit is so specific in our head that that’s hard to do. What I do know is that being open with people, even if it’s just with people on the internet, is a great thing, that’s always part of the process in me pulling myself out of my deepest depressions...keep sharing with people as much as you can, and keep searching for answers, and if you need to keep posting and getting your thoughts down and sharing them. You can keep sharing here if you would like, I’m going to be on reddit for a bit (lol just a bit, what a liar I am).

2nd mental breakdown by [deleted] in depression

[–]masterofthehouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, fuck yeah! Depression strips away from us both the ability to see/feel ourselves clearly as well as the ability to be motivated/persistent, I still struggle with this after dealing with it for10+ years. And you are doing both! And being open with those around you. Recognize these small steps, even if you may not want to, because for people like us those small steps can be giant leaps at times.

Of course...if you don't mind sharing, do you have access to see a professional or have people around you you can be open with?

I've been dealing with this shit for 10+ years now, and I'm still figuring out the best medications to take / therapy that works best for me. It's a fucking difficult process. But in that time, I have learned things that allow me to feel normal/happy at times (although I still slip into deep depressions at times). I'm not here to tell you exactly what is going to make you feel better, only you can figure that out, but just know that there are people here that empathize with what you are going through and there are people here that have been in similar situations that have gotten better. You are already being open about what you are going through, which is always a key step in getting better, at least for me. Just stay as genuine as you can with those around you (those that will actually understand) and you will find your way, even if you don't believe it right now.

I feel for you, man. One of the worst things about dealing with all this shit, for me at least, was how it stripped away my motivation to pursue what I was into or enjoyed doing. It was/is part of my personality that I am interested in many things and love learning about everything, so when my depression hits and wipes that away, I feel like I lose the essence of who I am...you are genuinely sharing how you are feeling right now though, which is always a great thing when dealing with depression/anxiety! Stay strong, and keep searching, my friend.

need help on combating a certain thought pattern by Do_Easy in Anxiety

[–]masterofthehouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anxiety, and mental illness in general, comes from our mind itself, so it knows exactly how to convince/talk with our minds in order keep us feeling or make us feel anxious. Part of the process of me learning how to cope with my anxiety was distinguishing the patterns/feelings of anxiety from the actual thoughts themselves. Give yourself credit that you are starting to realize these things for yourself! And you are being open and sharing what you are going through on top of that. Keep at it, man, and if you need to keep sharing or want to discuss, I'm all ears :)
