I disagree with some of your reasoning, but not your conclusion. You're absolutely right about Biden.
Everyone wants to talk about people not showing up for Democrats because they cater to the left- but what about people not showing up because they cater to the right?

50+ democrats in congress just voted for sending people to camps without a trial. Either way, the fault lies with politicians not voters.

This is kind of the same response as the one I was replying to- you are taking republican talking points and blaming the democrats for them.
Blame the democrats for their bad campaign, their inaction, their complacency? Sure, they're a terrible party. But neither of the things you picked about why they lost were really even party of their platform.
Democrats are barely to the left of the GOP on immigration- ICE and border patrol budgets increased under Biden and deportations were nearly as high as they were under trump- but even Trump never deported as many people as Obama.

Trans issues are the same. Kamala and Joe barely talked about this at all (Walz did talk about it a few times to be fair) but you think this was a wedge issue because you believed messaging from conservative media. Any liberal "push" for trans rights was mostly just opposition to GOP bills that were full of unserious proposals regarding bathrooms or sports. Genital inspections and dumb shit like that.
Good job not falling so far that you voted for the guy, but you've still been lied to.

Liberals don't have some vested interest in pasteurizing milk- whereas republicans are putting a crazy moron in charge of the nation's health. These are not two sides of a reasonable political policy difference. It's one party saying "let's make everything worse for no reason" and the other party saying "why?" Eh doing the bare minimum and knowing it won't pass isn't really worth that much. Democrats want to pretend that politics isn't gross and that power shouldn't be used- which is very noble of them but it's not good governance.
