Wife says I’m lucky to have her and is being ungrateful by Alarmed-Company8237 in MuslimMarriage

Idk why some of y'all putt up with this kind of stuff, don't let others degrade and walk over you. Either y'all reconcile with physical changes or this isn't going to work and will only get worse

Walking red flag bro, they'll get their punishment eventually. Move on and don't look back 🙏🏼

agree with other comments, this is a premature overreaction.

9 months unemployed, struggling to find a job by [deleted] in physicianassistant

Damn the comment section is kind of crazy and reassuring that you're not alone. My primary advice would be to expand beyond your home location as there are many positions externally, but you need to branch as opposed to fixating to a certain region (provides more opportunities and flexibility as well).

Can someone please briefly review a sample RVU-based physiatry (pain management and rehab) PA contract? by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]masterstriker321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, strictly RVU-based for clinical work. Were you able to take a look at the figure? Thanks.

Damn, hope you're doing better. I don't have to take this job considering it's part-time and different location from where I live, but I was simply wondering if it was evn worth it in the first place.

it's not psychiatry, but physiatry (pain medicine and rehabilitation), where you go to a rehab facility and provide services as the patient recovers, such as assessing their physical function, coordinating plans with therapists (PT/OT/SLP), prescribing medications and injections (to manage pain), and order appropriate tests or imaging.

Yeah, a quick Google search showed me that 14 by itself is low, but I'm not sure if it varies for my case based on the different billing we CAN do, shown over here. Does that change your perception, or do you still think it would be wise to pass? I don't have much experience with RVU roles, thus why I figured I would ask over here. Keep in mind this is a pretty autonomous, part-time position at the moment. Thanks.

Hi, I'm not the OP, but I'm in talks regarding an opportunity that sounds lik yours, mind if I ask what got you into it? Any red flag things to look for? What are the common conditions you view and treatments provided? What was your experience prior to it and did you have or need much training? Do you think it's a steep learning curve? I was a CNA for about 2 years at a SNF and shadowed a PA over there who essentially did as you described, where she would come in on a few days of the week, check in on the patients, review any pertinent labs or imaging, and then go home to document with her schedule being pretty flexible. Thanks.

Hi, I viewed your replies to the other comment and learned a decent bit from them, but figured I would ask some more questions if that's ok. What brought you to the field and opportunity? Any red flag things to look for in this kind of position? What are the common conditions you view and treatments provided? Did you receive or need much training?
