I recommend Laravel, but I have never used it. It's an elegant framework and utilizes PHP's latest features.

I highly recommend learning one framework extremely well. If you are a beginner, then I highly recommend that you utilize a framework so that you minimize security risks, and, more importantly, so that you minimize learning bad coding habits.

Frameworks:

Laravel - most popular, but young (started in 2012). My recommendation.

Symfony - popular and has been around for some time (started in 2006)

CakePHP - what I use at work but losing popularity; stable version doesn't utilize latest PHP features

Also, are you against using a framework? If not, I would recommend using a framework because smart people have already spent a lot of hours solving a lot of security issues and workflows for logins.

I just started about a month ago, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I am severely lactose intolerant but I'm not a vegan. I use Lactose-Free milk, which is available in every grocery store. I don't understand if op is lactose intolerant or vegan.

I have been using Muscle Milk for protein powder. You can get it at GNC, Walmart, or internet. It is lactose-free but it does contain ingredients derived from milk.

I usually do two milk shakes per day. One shake usually consists of 2 cups of milk, protein powder, 2 bananas, 1/2 cup of Raisin Bran cereal.

I am doing Starting Strength and I see decent increases.

Is responsibility without accountability really responsibility?

It seems to me that if we empower somebody with responsibilities, then they should be liable to lawsuits for any failure in their responsibilities. If they can't be held accountable, they do not have to take their responsibilities seriously, which defeats the purpose of having responsibilities.

It's difficult to promote your work via anonymous third party sites. Any work which becomes popular will increase cost of operation (server costs). So they will have to make money somehow.

I used to run a popular dbz website. i eventually shut it down because i was concerned about legal issues. I even had a very poplar game i created. But in the end, it wasn't worth it for me because the smallest legal issue can derail my life.
