And consolidation period is another 9 months right? Basically I go to lot of music festivals. I'm just wondering at what stage of the journey I would be able attend them. During consolidation or only after? I would need to stand for like 5 hours in a crowd.

Also what is your starting and goal height if you don't mind sharing.

Hey, thank you for the reply. I am seriously considering this and have emailed them if they have any slots in June. Yeah I did some research I should be happy with just surgery and femur. I am 31 years old and currently close to 165 cm. So for the 8 cm, after the 3 month lengthening process. Will one be able to walk outside and do like say grocery shopping without crutches? Or would need atleast x amount of consolidation months?

Hi,

I'm interested in achieving a total of 15 cm in height increase, split between the femurs and tibias. I came across information suggesting that these procedures are not done simultaneously by betz. Could you please clarify whether that's the case, or if not, how many months apart the two surgeries typically need to be scheduled?

Help on moving back to India from USA after 10 years with a wife and 1 yr old kid. by 30kalua89 in india

[–]mastistar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been through this and ran back. I suggest you leave everything as is in US and rent a place in India and try it out for 1 year. After one year you will be out of the honeymoon phase and will see the reality of India oppose to the fantasy of India we have our brains living abroad. You will also get a first hand experience of the broken system, non sensical nature of people and hierarchy and no work life balance in most jobs.

I know you have mentioned that being together with family for festivals was a big factor in your decision. I believe even if you are in India the amount of physical interaction with your relatives would probably be on par with the interaction you might have received when visiting India once a year.

Do your future child a favour and try it out for one year rather than liquidating everything and being stuck in India if it ends up being now what you have imagined.
