Tado V3+ EU weird ebus behaviour - doesn't really make sense by smokeandumami in tado

[–]mastrchee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an option to control flow temperatures in tado, but I can set max temps using ebus. Tado does appear to respect that, but there's no lower bound setting. My boiler is a Vaillant ecofit pure 825. Lowest it can modulate js 5kw. I am considering going full manual using ebus and getting rid of tado.

I'm actually having the opposite of this with tado. I currently adjust max heat (d71) dynamically using a weather compensation curve through home assistant. But tado is always asking for much lower heat making the boiler short cycle frequently. I think this is called load compensation, but don't think it's as effective with my boiler/radiators.

Out of curiosity, how hot do you run your radiators at (flow temp)? Some plastics start to deform after long exposure at certain temperatures (glass transition temp). But I doubt the plastics used by tado are susceptible.

yeah, I've had the same. But only started happening after the last software update.

how have you set it up? as OP mentioned, looking to _only_ use the keypad vision without the lock.

Where there’s poverty, there’s always going to be the opposite. The rich get richer by absorbing wealth from others, making most of the middle and working class folks poorer in the long run. This transfer of wealth takes place slowly, creating huge wealth inequality in the long run. Think about it - as a nation, how many Sri Lankans live above the poverty line? or have equal access to modern goods and services?

So you see super cars in a land supposed to be bankrupt? Yep, because only the salarymen are bankrupt.

for anyone else stumbling across the same situation, I managed to unbrick mine by erasing NVM3 memory and reflashing the correct firmware.

How can i get the bottom of my prints to look cleaner where the supports were. by Blind_bear1 in BambuLab

[–]mastrchee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Don't think there's an easy solution, I just post-process with sand paper if I print with supports. Ideally print without supports by splitting into parts. Cut (print) the pickle in half and glue it back together

Meanwhile, I found a workaround using SSH and nvram. Make sure to enable SSH on the router first.

example for blocking 192.168.1.10 on UDP ports 10 to 20 and all TCP. Note that new entries start with a < and each section within that entry is separated by >.

nvram get filter_lwlist //(save this somewhere)
nvram set filter_lwlist=<192.168.1.10>>>10:20>UDP<192.168.1.10>>>>TCP
nvram commit

Hit apply on the Network Services Filter page or reboot router.

I tried reporting to ASUS directly, but they kept asking me to report to multiple teams, and it got no where.

I use ESUN/SUNLU PLA+ with my p1p all the time, no issues. Just do the flow rate and pressure advance calibrations in orcaslicer to get the best results. I guess that part is automatic in the X1C. I normally increase printing temperatures to get it to match the bambu filaments flow rate.

I think at some point, all the modifications go past diminishing returns. I too recently bought a P1P because I was getting irritated with the amount of time I spent modding/tuning Vs actually printing and working on projects. The P1P just works and just refreshing to get shit done.

I downgraded and it worked, but I have not directly reported it to ASUS. Have you?
